I discovered an amazing band, while visiting the XX Viljandi Folk Music Festival. I found them playing for free and advertising themselves on the corner of the street. After that I was sold: I went to both of their concerts and danced for hours until my feet hurt like hell.
So, I'd like to introduce to you... Water Tower Bucket Boys!
They came all the way from Oregon and their music is a wonderful mixture of folk and country music, bluegrass, rock and blues. They amazed me with their energy and sincerity. For me their songs are made of summertime, dusty roads that meander through tiny villages, slowly setting sun that turns everything golden and fields that go as far as eye can see and with a hint of creeks and soft grass.
I hadn't found anything so great for a long time: these gigs were really magical for me, so I'm going to share some photos I took on their second gig in Viljandi.
As usual - click to see bigger photos.
