Seasons...

This is a little mass upload, because I discovered that I have a lot of photos that are too insignificant to post them as a separate artwork (because they are nature photos and I suck at it!), but what are still quite cute. So I'll post all those photos here together and hope that you'll like them.

This house is located near my school and we drove by it every day. One day I took my camera with me and took two sets of photos: around 8 o'clock and around 1 o'clock, because the light was totally different. The daylight was much more better, but I didn't get the right angle, because we were in a hurry. So all those shots stayed in my computer, gathering virtual dust.

But even though it's not what I was hoping for, I still like it. I have this weird relationship with windows... Especially with sunflowers.

To tell the truth, I'm not fond of photos that are over-edited, too plastic and with strong colours that are not working. I used to be, but luckily I learned to use more subtle colours that don't destroy photos that much.

So this photo is a real surprise to me. I had much more natural version of this, but I looked at this one and thought:"Sometimes I wish that the world really was that colourful..." It would be smashing. And I kept this one as a tiny piece of Wonderland.

Another discarded shot meant for the photo contest. A road to my school.

Very hipster-esque photo. I can do this crap too! ^_^

Beautiful trees in Green Park. Sunset. Walking with my mum. Perfect vacation.

Cold cold cold mornings in Estonia. This photo was taken around 6.30 when I was getting ready for school. Since my school is 20 kilometres from the town, I have to wake up insanely early. Oh, and the white area behind the trees and before the other houses is the frozen lake.

Cold and pale rising sun through my window.

Lego House.

I'm gonna pick up the pieces,
And build a Lego house
If things go wrong
we can knock it down

[---]

I'm out of touch,
I'm out of love
I'll pick you up when you're getting down
And out of all these things I've done
I think I love you better now

Day of the Living Dead.

A little something from the Haapsalu Horror & Fantasy Film Festival (we shorten it to HÕFF). It was three wonderful days full of horror films, nice people, oh-so-lovely Haapsalu town, springtime, seaside and warm sunshine...

And of course zombies.

Usually the festival is opened by the zombie parade, but this year it was different. The undead creatures came out of their graves, took Michael Jackson with them and danced in front of the cultural centre of Haapsalu.

These are the only decent photos of the main zombie-girl, because the man on the first photo just kept prancing in front of my camera. I think he was the photographer from the local newspaper and I understand that he really needed those photos, but after ruining almost all my chances to get an awesome photo of this girl, I was truly sad and wondered if biting him would be a good idea. Because that's what zombies do! They bite.

But I guess I must forgive him, because he took a photo of us too... I hope it's all right if I post it here.

It Was the Year 1975...

The 25th anniversary of two people in Haapsalu. Silver weddings, can you imagine that. The photo looked so retro by accident: the car, the old building and even the tailor's signs on the window. All I had to do was to play with the colours a bit.

Happy anniversary!

Morning Coffee.

Morning coffee in the train station's cheap café where you can buy traditional meat pies, strange Slavic dishes and warm doughnuts. It's the place where sleepy-eyed students who are rushing to catch their train home, homeless man who drinks his first beer of the day and old folks who have been visiting the market, meet and then go separate ways.

I absolutely adore that old lady's grumpy face. I wonder what was wrong with her coffee or what went through her head at that moment.

One of my pet peeves are nature photos. Not the good and smashing ones, but the really really bad ones... At one moment I had to go through so many bad and pointless photos of flowers, straws and trees that I just felt that "That's enough, I hate nature!"

But here I am... Please forgive me for posting pointless nature photos. I was waiting for my boyfriend near the train station and decided to take some pictures. And I was so amazed that managed to get such depth of field for the first time ever. Amateur with a camera, what more can I say! :)
