Christmas in Tallinn.
I visited Tallinn last Friday and of course I had to pop in the Tallinn Christmas Market that is held every year.
Big Christmas tree in the middle of the Town Hall Square, surrounded by tiny cabins, decorated with shiny lights... Salesmen and saleswomen are wrapped in blankets and warm clothes. Everybody seems happy, even if the weather is really really cold.
It's like a tiny fairy tale village where you can forget all the bad things, pet reindeer and drink hot toddy while watching the snow fall. It's really worth visiting, because it brings you this sentimental Christmas feeling like the one people have in films.

Autumn leaves.
Today was a special day for me. I finally asked my friend if she wanted to model for me. She agreed and so today was the second time I worked with someone. I feared the worst, because I'm bad at instructing models and don't know what to ask and what I want. This is why I have avoided taking pictures of posing people.
But everything went better than I expected: she's one of my best friends and it was really easy for me to communicate with her. We had fun and even though the weather let us down and I had to cancel a few ideas I had, I got some photos. I'm really happy that I finally found my courage.
P.S. The manor park near our school was really that colourful and beautiful.

I still suck at nature photography, but these were the pictures that I took during the Mütofest festival when I was walking around and I didn't see anything else to take photos of. Whenever I felt like "Oh, there's nothing else to shoot...", I just tried manual focusing (didn't work yet!) or just catching the light as it was. So these are probably just some testing shots.

While visiting the Linnanmäki amusement park, we also went to some sea-world museum. It was probably the highlight of this trip, because I love water and even though I'm afraid of deep water, I was still amazed how beautiful the world under the water was. I could have stayed there for hours.

Water Tower Bucket Boys.
I discovered an amazing band, while visiting the XX Viljandi Folk Music Festival. I found them playing for free and advertising themselves on the corner of the street. After that I was sold: I went to both of their concerts and danced for hours until my feet hurt like hell.
So, I'd like to introduce to you... Water Tower Bucket Boys!
They came all the way from Oregon and their music is a wonderful mixture of folk and country music, bluegrass, rock and blues. They amazed me with their energy and sincerity. For me their songs are made of summertime, dusty roads that meander through tiny villages, slowly setting sun that turns everything golden and fields that go as far as eye can see and with a hint of creeks and soft grass.
I hadn't found anything so great for a long time: these gigs were really magical for me, so I'm going to share some photos I took on their second gig in Viljandi.
